Happy Back to School season, everyone!
As we kick off a new school year, we have an important question for you to consider: What if your school could be a hub for kindness, leadership, and meaningful real-world impact…led by students, for students?
Starting a NEST4US chapter brings the strength of our organization directly into your campus or community through student-led groups committed to service. It gives students a practical way to move from “I care about this issue” to “Here is what we can do about it together.” Chapters make it possible for young people to move beyond awareness and into action, transforming compassion into something ongoing and tangible that can be tailored to your school’s values.
At its heart, a NEST4US chapter is about students taking charge. It’s about members spearheading volunteer projects, leading kindness campaigns, hosting donation drives, and fundraising for causes they care about. Whether organizing school-wide service events or supporting NEST4US’s global impact initiatives, students gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in their communities.
Leadership That Goes Beyond the Classroom
Students who get involved in a NEST4US chapter develop critical life skills including leadership, public speaking, event planning, teamwork, and community organizing. They learn how to rally peers around a cause, collaborate with school administrators and local partners, and turn ideas into action.
These experiences don’t just look good on resumes. They build confidence, empathy, and purpose. Chapters create a space where students feel empowered to lead with heart, creativity, and intention—values we hold dear at NEST4US.
But the value is not only in the skills you can list on a résumé. It’s in the confidence that comes from being trusted with meaningful responsibility and seeing firsthand that YOU (yes, you!) can help shape the world around you. Chapters create a space where students can lead with empathy, creativity, and intention, while learning that leadership does not begin once they graduate, but when they decide to step up.
We’ve seen this impact firsthand.
Our Clarksburg High School Chapter is a powerful example of what youth-driven change can look like. Over the past few years, its student leaders have created hands-on opportunities for their peers to serve, connect, and take ownership of issues that matter to them.
They are leading with purpose inside and outside the classroom by building skills they will carry forward in any career path they pursue while also showing other students that there’s a place for them in service too!

Be the Spark
Change doesn’t have to wait until you are an adult or have a job. It can start with a small group of passionate students, a shared vision, and the courage to lead. It can start with YOU!
By starting a NEST4US chapter, you’re creating a space where students can take meaningful action, build community with one another, and learn that their leadership is needed and valued NOW, not someday in the future!
