The reach of our five core programs is wide, varied, and ever-growing—each one representing a person, partner, or pathway that nourishes the NEST and strengthens community. Through our wide variety of initiatives, we provide targeted support and empowerment to a diverse range of communities, ensuring that no one is left behind. Our beneficiaries are individuals and groups facing systemic barriers to opportunity and resources, whose stories fuel our NEST.
For underrepresented groups, such as low-income families, homeless communities, refugees, underprivileged kids, orphans, kids with special needs, veterans, senior citizens, foster kids, students in Title 1 schools, oppressed minority groups, etc., we provide a diverse array of resources to each individual according to specific need, whether it is nutrition provision, academic assistance, or anything in between.
With young people, who form the heart of our NEST, we ignite leadership early and often. From kids as young as three writing notes of encouragement to teens leading food rescues, youth are at the forefront of everything we do. Through grassroots leadership, chapter heads, service projects, and international collaborations, our young changemakers demonstrate that you don’t need to be an adult, expert, or superhero to change the world—you just need to care!
