Confidentiality & Data Handling Policy
Purpose
NEST4US is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all personal, sensitive, and organizational information entrusted to us. This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, contractors, interns, board members, clients, and partners working with NEST4US. Any breach of this policy will be considered grounds for corrective action, up to and including termination of employment or volunteer service.
1. Confidential Information Defined
Confidential information may include, but is not limited to:
- Personal information of volunteers, donors, staff, partners, and beneficiaries (name, contact information, financial details, etc.).
- Information related to minors (children under 18) engaged in NEST4US programs.
- Donation, financial, or fundraising records.
- Internal communications, strategies, and partnership agreements.
- Any other non-public information that could reasonably be considered sensitive.
2. Confidentiality Obligations
Non-Disclosure: Staff, volunteers, and affiliates must not disclose confidential information to any third party without prior written consent from the individual(s) concerned, except as required by law.
