What happens when two sisters decide to take on the world’s biggest challenges—armed with nothing but a shared vision, a lot of energy, and (let’s be honest) a few heated debates along the way? You get NEST4US.
Running a nonprofit as sisters is kind of like running a three-legged race every single day: awkward at first, occasionally chaotic, but ultimately unstoppable once you figure out how to move in sync.
When people ask us, “So…how do you do it?”, we usually laugh, because the truth is, we don’t always get it perfect. But what makes this work is the mix of strengths we bring.
As Shreyaa often says,
“Esha is the creative spark. She’s the one with 100 new ideas before breakfast. I’m the strategy person—I figure out how to actually make them happen.”
And Esha loves to counter with,
“Shreyaa is the map, but I’m the adventure. You need both to get anywhere exciting.”
Of course, working together isn’t all sunshine. We’ve had our share of late-night debates over program details, “friendly” disagreements about messaging, and moments where one of us wants to sprint while the other wants to pause. But those moments have taught us resilience, compromise, and the art of listening—skills we bring into every part of NEST4US.

What makes it all worth it? The joy. The kind of joy that comes from seeing a child smile when they open a birthday-in-a-box we packed, or hearing from a volunteer that their first service project inspired them to keep giving back. Those wins remind us that sisterhood is more than just family—it’s a force multiplier for impact.
Looking back, we realize that running NEST4US as a duo is our secret sauce. We’re not just co-founders—we’re co-dreamers, co-problem solvers, and yes, co-disruptors when it comes to challenging the status quo. After all,
“When sisters lead with kindness, the possibilities are limitless.”
So here’s to the laughter, the late nights and early mornings, the teamwork, and the endless scoops of ice cream that keep us going. Running NEST4US as sisters is not always easy—but it’s always an adventure. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
